Tasting Notes
The inky purple 2017 Wight Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon boasts layers of black cherry, graphite, charcoal, and tobacco. Dense, rich fruit is balanced with rounded tannins and full-bodied texture. The 2017s are bright and balanced, with plenty of structure behind their lush Lewelling Ranch fruit. We were fortunate to have picked many days before the fires of 2017, capturing the purity of the vintage before the smoke and tragedy.
